In January, 2010, Veracity Benefits was acquired by Northwest Savings Bank (publicly traded, symbol NWBI on NASDAQ) and operates today as a wholly owned subsidiary. 

In 2013, Northwest acquired the Bert Insurance Group and Employee Benefit Resources, both in Erie, PA.  The Bert Insurance Group is an Employee Benefits and Property & Casualty consulting firm with over 200 clients and a broad product offering.  Employee Benefit Resources provides employee benefits in the western Pennsylvania marketplace. 

These acquisitions further demonstrate Northwest’s commitment to the employee benefits marketplace and the parent company continues to provide our team with the tools and resources to best serve our client base. 

As of January 1st, 2014, Veracity Benefits, The Bert Insurance Group and Employee Benefit Resources have merged as Northwest Insurance Services.  You will notice that future communications from us are branded under the Northwest Insurance Services logo.

This change is seamless to you and you will continue to experience the same high level of service you have become accustomed to, expect and deserve.
