At home or the workplace everyone realizes that driving is an important responsibility. Most people agree that unsafe driving can have serious consequences.  Each year STEL employees log hundreds of hours and thousands of miles on the road; transporting our consumers to various destinations in our communities. It is our responsibility to ensure that our consumers and staff members arrive safely to each and every destination.

We will be conducting  Driver Safety Classes for all staff members who have not successfully taken the Driver Safety Class prior to December 31, 2014. This training is required for all staff members who drive as part of their job duties and responsibilities. This includes all of our Residential/Housing Care Services, Work Force, Catt. County Case Management, Compeer, Maintenance, and Administrative staff. Therefore, staff members who were certified after January 1, 2015 should not enroll in this session.

Please use the form below to register for this training.

 Good News!

This year STEL will pay for staff members’ insurance certificates (over $35 value). Unfortunately, do to class size restrictions we will NOT be able to  extend an invitation to employee's spouses and other household members to take this course. However JCC does offer classes to the community throughout the year. Please check JCC website for dates and times.

The Defensive Driving Certificate is valid for three years and will provide up to 10% discount on your auto insurance and 4 points off your license.

YOU MUST BRING YOUR DRIVER'S LICENSE TO THIS TRAINING!
